Ingredients
- 3 C torn iceberg lettuce
- 3 C torn red leaf lettuce
- 1 Large hard Cooked egg, chopped
- 4 Strips bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
- 1 small ripe avocado, cubed
- 1/2 C chopped red onion
- 2 ripe small tomatoes seeded and chopped
- 3/4 C plain low-fat yogurt
- 4 t chili sauce
- 1 T chopped fresh parsley, or 1 t dried parsley flakes
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/8 t pepper
- 2-4 drops hot pepper sauce
Preparation
- Line a large, flat bowl with mixed lettuces.
- Arrange all the other salad ingredients in rows on tip of the lettuce.
- Combine the dressing ingredients; mix well. Serve the dressing alongside the salad.
