Cobb Salad With Louis Dressing

Ingredients

  • 3 C torn iceberg lettuce
  • 3 C torn red leaf lettuce
  • 1 Large hard Cooked egg, chopped
  • 4 Strips bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1 small ripe avocado, cubed
  • 1/2 C chopped red onion
  • 2 ripe small tomatoes seeded and chopped
  • 3/4 C plain low-fat yogurt
  • 4 t chili sauce
  • 1 T chopped fresh parsley, or 1 t dried parsley flakes
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1/8 t pepper
  • 2-4 drops hot pepper sauce

Preparation

  1. Line a large, flat bowl with mixed lettuces.


  2. Arrange all the other salad ingredients in rows on tip of the lettuce.


  3. Combine the dressing ingredients; mix well. Serve the dressing alongside the salad.
