Baked Tuna Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 t salt
  • 1/4 t black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic or more, minced
  • 1/4 t red pepper flakes
  • 4 small tuna steaks
  • 1/2 c olive oil
  • 1/4 c lemon juice
  • 2 T teriyaki sauce

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375.


  2. Combine salt, pepper, garlic and pepper flakes together thoroughly and rub on both sides of tuna steaks.


  3. Place 2 tablespoons of olive oil in shallow baking dish and lay in the tuna steaks.


  4. Combine remaining 6 tablespoons of olive oil. lemon juice and teriyaki sauce. Pour over fish.


  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Baste with seasoned oil mixture 2 or 3 times during baking.
